D’Crypt is a high-value design and development house. We work with our customers to deliver state-of-the-art cryptographic technology and components that become an integral part of our customer's information security appliances, systems, and applications.
We have openings for Electronics Design Engineers to join our highly talented R&D team. The candidate will work on electronics design and development for security products in D’Crypt.
Responsibilities
You will work as part of a design team to build high-security products around high-performance digital and analog circuits. You must be conversant with high-speed digital design, implementation, test, and troubleshooting, on multi-layer PCBs. You will also have responsibilities in the development of test jigs, conduct of test (including Environmental Qualification Tests), and documentation. You will liaise with our production subcontractors on mass-production issues if necessary.
We expect you to have embedded hardware development experience using ARM or equivalent processing cores. Knowledge of hardware processor-memory architecture, memory interfaces, PCI, USB, I2C and Ethernet interfaces, and low-voltage power supplies are also important. Analog design skills and the ability to develop drivers in C or assembly language would be advantageous.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or related disciplines
- Preferably with at least 3 years of work experience in PCB-level high-speed digital electronics design
- Experience in design of high-speed digital interfaces (eg USB, Ethernet, DDR)
- Experience in schematic entry / PCB layout design
- Experience in testing and debugging board level electronics
- Experience in handling semiconductor components, soldering, etc
- A team player with strong problem-solving skills to accomplish tasks
- Self-starter, systematic, analytical and able to initiate changes and improvements
- Good written, verbal communication skills in English
